The NQO COST Action is organizing a workshop for its Early Stage Researchers*. This meeting will provide a unique platform for young researchers of the Action to familiarize themselves with their colleagues and form long-lasting networks. Furthermore, it will allow these researchers the opportunity to formally present their work to an audience of their peers.

The previous ERS workshop was organized in the Autumn of 2015, in a lovely setting of Malta ( and in Budapest, Hungary on 26-27 October 2017 ( This year, the workshop will be held in Braga, Portugal on 6-7 September 2018. For details on the Venue and Accommodation, please visit the Venue and Getting There section.

 *COST defines early stage researchers, ESR (or early career investigators) as those who within a time span of up to 8 years from the date they obtained the PhD/doctorate (full-time equivalent).

Abstract submission and registration

Abstracts for oral and poster contributions can be submitted until August 15th, 2018. The notification of acceptance will be sent via email no later than September 1st, 2018.
